Lesbian predator, 28, who attacked a woman in a nightclub toilet before a second victim revealed on Facebook ‘she did it to me too’ faces jail after being found guilty of sexual assault

A lesbian sex offender who attacked two women in a nightclub toilets 19 days apart is facing jail after being found guilty of sexual assault.

Jennifer Mallee, 28, allegedly spiked her first victim’s drink before leading her into a toilet room to sexually assault her.

Less than three weeks later, the predator carried out a similar attack on another young woman who she locked in a booth at another club.

The first woman didn’t come forward until three years later when she read about the second attack and posted on the Facebook article: “She did it to me too.”

Her message prompted the second woman to contact her and the pair, who were strangers, met at a Starbucks to share their experiences.

It gave the first victim the confidence to report her attack to police and they accused Mallee of assault.

She denied the allegations but was found guilty of three charges of sexual assault after a six-day trial.

The first attack happened in the early hours of New Year’s Day 2019, when the victim met Mallee at the DYMK club in Bournemouth, Dorset, after being dumped by her boyfriend.

The woman, who was 22 years old at the time, had drunk about three rum and cokes and then started feeling ‘weird’, believing her drinks had been spiked.

In her police interview she said: ‘It was like an out-of-body experience. It was very strange, like I was frozen. I couldn’t talk, everything around me was muffled.’

Mallee led her by the hand to the toilet and locked the cabin door before indecently assaulting her.

The victim was able to escape when other partygoers banged on the door because they had been in the booth for a while.

She said she blocked it out of her mind after the attack and thought she wouldn’t be believed if she complained.

Then, in May 2022, she read an article in a local newspaper about Mallee being convicted of a similar attack on another woman.

That attack took place on January 20, 2019, in the toilets of the Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth.

Mallee locked the second victim in a cubicle and put her hand up her skirt, with the attack lasting about 20 seconds.

Mallee admitted the assault, was given a 12-month community order and placed on the sex offenders register for five years.

The first victim, now 26, became aware of the news when her ex-boyfriend sent her a screenshot of the article asking “is this you?”

She told police in an interview: ‘I immediately ran downstairs and told my mother ‘someone has come forward about that girl’.

‘As soon as I said that (comment) I thought ‘why would I put that there?’ It was almost like a cry for help. I’m almost glad I did it because that’s how I met (the second woman).

‘She sent me a message saying, ‘Hi, I’m the girl from the article, I just wanted to know if you’re okay.’ It was just nice to be able to talk to someone who understood, who knew how I felt.

‘We met for coffee to talk about what we had been through.

‘I felt I had to do it for myself (coming forward) and keep other people safe…’

Mallee claimed the young woman had fabricated the attack, saying they had merely shared a New Year’s gift.

But a jury found her guilty of three charges of sexual assault and not guilty of one.

Mallee, from Bournemouth, will be sentenced on June 7.
