Leonardo DiCpario cuts a casual figure as he enjoys dinner with family in Italy

He was recently pictured kicking back with his actor friend Tobey Maguire in Florence.

And Leonardo DiCaprio continued this Italian vacation this week as he dined with a huge crowd of family and friends at Maito Restaurant in Forte dei Marmi.

The Hollywood actor, 48, looked casual for the outing in a black T-shirt, which he wore with dark trousers as he sat next to father George and stepmother Peggy Farrar.

Leo kept a low profile alfresco meal in a baseball cap, appearing to go unnoticed by fellow diners.

His underground comix innovator, Dad George, looked a little more dapper in a brown blazer worn with a dress shirt.

Leo’s stepmother Peggy, who is an Amritdhari Sikh, wore a white turban to hold her hair and dressed in a summery pink caftan.

They dined at the world famous restaurant in the coastal town of Forte dei Marmi.

Part of the chic Maito beach resort, the restaurant specializes in seafood fresh from the ocean.

The Italian holiday comes just days after Gigi Hadid, 28, and Leo enjoyed another night out with his father and stepmother in London.

The supermodel and Oscar-winning actor were both seen arriving at the Chiltern Firehouse in London on Wednesday.

It was their second night out in a row in the capital after joining Leo’s parents for dinner at China Tang on Tuesday.

The couple’s romance reportedly fizzled out in February, but despite the apparent end of their brief relationship, the two were seen together several times in May and were reportedly hanging out again recently.

Leonardo has a very close relationship with his father, who divorced the actor’s mother shortly after his birth and two decades later, in 1995, married Peggy Farrar.

After struggling for money in the early stages of Leo’s childhood, George found work as an asbestos and fire-resistant roofing installer before starting his own business by launching a waterbed company called Foggy Bottom.

George also made a name for himself as one of the leading figures in the underground comics scene as a writer, editor and distributor – before mentoring son Leo in the early days of his on-screen career.

Although Leonardo is an award-winning Hollywood actor, his father took a brief foray into the world of cinema.

The older DiCaprio recently had a small role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1970s coming-of-age comedy Licorice Pizza.

He played a wig shop owner and waterbed salesman who convinces the film’s protagonist (played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Cooper) to start his own waterbed business.
