Leonardo DiCaprio supports Martin Scorsese as he wins the Legend of Cinema Award at CinemaCon

Following the unveiling of new footage from their movie Killers of the Flower Moon, Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio sweetly supported his favorite director Martin Scorsese as CinemaCon honored his six-decade career at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The official convention for the National Association of Theater Owners presented the 80-year-old filmmaker with the first Legend of Cinema Award, which will henceforth be called the Martin Scorsese Award.

The 48-year-old Titanic alum was smartly dressed up in a black suit over a gray collared polo-style shirt and shiny patent leather dress shoes selected by stylist Evet Sanchez.

Leonardo – who appeared to be wearing a health-monitoring Ōura ring – had hefty stubble and quite a tan complexion.

DiCaprio — a regular model maker who chatted with Irina Shayk at Coachella — smoothed down his light brown hair for the special lunch talk.

‘This is my sixth film with Leo and my tenth with [Robert] De Niro, and my first with both together,” Scorsese said on stage THR.

“This is an image designed to be projected on a large screen. It doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate movies on home screens, but this is a big screen movie, and that’s what we made.

“As you will now see, I can only get this picture with the collaborators who are remarkable and who are fully committed to bringing this story to life on an epic scale.”

Leonardo reposted the three Osage News exclusive images Instagram while at CinemaCon, Marty shared the first trailer for the Oklahoma-born New Yorker’s $200 million budget drama.
