Leonardo DiCaprio shows off his toned torso in shorts in Italy

He was recently pictured kicking back with his actor friend Tobey Maguire in Florence.

And Leonardo DiCaprio continued his Italian getaway this week, relaxing aboard a luxury superyacht in Nerano on Wednesday.

The Hollywood actor, 48, showed off his toned physique as he went shirtless in just a pair of blue swim shorts as he soaked up the rays.

Leonardo had just jumped aboard after a swim in the sea, while a member of the crew waited attentively with a towel as he scrambled back on deck.

The Inception star’s wet hair was swept back and he sported some stubble while flaunting an off-duty look.

Leo has been photographed on numerous outings over the past week while enjoying his holiday in Italy. On Saturday, he was spotted having lunch in Naples on the Amalfi Coast with his father and Peggy.

He was also pictured taking a nighttime stroll around Florence with Tobey over the weekend.

The European holiday comes just days after Gigi and Leonardo enjoyed another night out with his father and stepmother in London.

The supermodel and actor were both seen arriving at the Chiltern Firehouse in London.

It was their second night out in a row in the capital, after dining at China Tang with Leo’s parents.

The couple’s romance reportedly fizzled out in February, but despite the apparent end of their brief relationship, the two were seen together several times in May and were reportedly hanging out again recently.

Leonardo has a very close relationship with his father, who divorced the actor’s mother shortly after his birth and two decades later, in 1995, married Peggy Farrar.

After struggling for money in the early stages of Leo’s childhood, George found work as an asbestos and fire-resistant roofing installer before starting his own business by launching a waterbed company called Foggy Bottom.

George also made a name for himself as one of the leading figures in the underground comics scene as a writer, editor and distributor – before mentoring son Leo in the early days of his on-screen career.

Although Leonardo is an award-winning Hollywood actor, his father took a brief foray into the world of cinema.

The older DiCaprio recently had a small role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 1970s coming-of-age comedy Licorice Pizza.

He played a wig shop owner and waterbed salesman who convinces the film’s protagonist (played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Cooper) to start his own waterbed business.
