Lenovo’s AI-powered prototype display constantly assesses your physical activity, but tells us not to worry
- The Lenovo stand has motors to adjust the screen according to the user’s position
- It can also be voice-activated to make adjustments without accessing the monitor’s control panel
- The yet-to-be-named curved monitor will likely be launched under the ThinkVision banner
Lenovo has announced a series of AI-powered concept devices at CES 2025, including an AI-powered display prototype that promises to be more than just a screen.
According to Lenovo (via Yanko design), this curved AI display adapts to user behavior, monitors a user’s physical activity and nudges when it detects extended periods of inactivity.
Equipped with motors and advanced sensors, the monitor adjusts tilt, rotation and height in real time to suit the user’s posture.
Lenovo’s AI-powered monitor
Lenovo claims that the focus of the AI display, which comes with built-in voice control, is on creating a healthier, more productive environment.
The company adds that this screen addresses privacy concerns by using sensors that blur the screen when the user steps away, protecting sensitive information from prying eyes.
While Lenovo hasn’t named this curved screen yet, it’s expected to debut under the ThinkVision brand, known for its premium monitors.
Although Lenovo’s monitor is still in the prototype phase, it invites an important discussion about the privacy trade-offs we are willing to make for smarter technology in our lives.
