Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is the latest AI PC with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chip, and it’s as beautiful as it is powerful

Lenovo has announced the launch of its latest laptop in its thin and light ultrabook line, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite chip.

The new laptop is part of the growing portfolio of so-called AI PCs, PCs with chips with integrated NPUs that can handle more advanced consumer AI applications. The Snapdragon Naturally, AI features will play a big role here, with Microsoft’s super-powerful Copilot assistant leading the way.

Weighing 1.28 kg (2.82 lbs) and just 12.9 mm (0.5 in) thick, this is one of Lenovo’s lighter offerings, and with the highly energy-efficient Arm architecture that powers the Snapdragon X Elite, it has the potential to offer the kind of portability and battery life that only Apple’s MacBook Air has been able to offer since the introduction of the Apple M1 in 2020.
