Lennon Gallagher strolls with girlfriend Isobel Richmond on a double date

With his unruly eyebrows and mop of brown hair, there was no mistaking the rock star pedigree of this young man on a double date.

Lennon Gallagher – a dead end for his father, former Oasis frontman Liam – was spotted having a fancy lunch in London with his mother Patsy Kensit and their respective partners.

Lennon, 23, seemed smitten with his girlfriend Isobel Richmond when they were joined at Cecconi’s by Ms Kensit, 55, and her fiancé Patric Cassidy, 58.

Miss Richmond, who wore a satin black dress and heeled boots, even shared a kiss with model and musician Gallagher in front of other diners.

While Ms. Kensit and real estate mogul Cassidy, who proposed on a beach in February, looked equally affectionate as they walked hand in hand.

The former Holby City actress wore a floral patterned mini dress and leopard print sandals.

The foursome also took advantage of the sunshine as they browsed the designer shops on Bond Street, with the two men holding large bouquets.

Ms Kensit – who began her acting career at the age of four in an advertisement for Birds Eye Frozen Peas before starring in movies like Absolute Beginners – is clearly a fan of her son’s girlfriend and regularly comments on her social media posts.

She commented on a photo of the couple in an embrace at a show business party, writing, “Beautiful, I love you guys so much.”

Meanwhile, Gallagher has publicly expressed his support for what will be his mother’s fifth marriage.

When he announced her engagement on Instagram with a video showing the romantic proposal, he wrote, “Love you mum.”

The Emmerdale actress first married musician Dan Donovan in 1988.

They divorced in 1991, a year before she married Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr. The couple, who have a son, James, 29, went their separate ways in 1996.
