A new and little known one Australian skin care brand receives five-star reviews from customers thanks to its nourishing formula approach.

Tasmanian Kelp is rich in antioxidants, Niacinamide can help improve skin texture and tone, while Hyaluronic Acid is known for helping the skin retain moisture. The Water Bomb moisturizer contains four different hyaluronic acids with different molecular weights for comprehensive hydration, as well as peptides that aim to target fine lines.

“A lot of people thought we were crazy at the time, but we built the lab before we even sold a product,” Leitin founder Leighton told Daily Mail Australia.

He told Daily Mail Australia: ‘You wouldn’t think that a passion for landscaping and skincare would have much to do with each other, but interestingly, a passion for Australian Botany laid the perfect foundation to formulate a skincare brand, especially as many of the ingredients I use are plant-based ingredients.’

The journey to launching the brand began in 2022 with what Leighton describes as a series of “perfectly timed events” that led to him taking the plunge and deciding to build his brand.

‘Coming from an industry where we love to create, build and get our hands dirty, my approach to starting my skincare brand was no different. Every aspect of our business, from formulation to manufacturing to distribution, is done in-house – something I’m incredibly proud of, especially as the skincare market is absolutely oversaturated with a lot of unoriginality.”
