Leila McKinnon has shared some shocking snaps from hospital after surgery.
The Channel Nine reporter revealed on Instagram on Thursday that she had undergone surgery on her knee to remove a pin inserted after a fall in 2022.
Leila shared a selfie while lying in bed, and also shared an image of her leg, which was a vibrant pink color.
“I may or may not be high as a kite right now after another wonderful knee surgery,” she told her followers in the caption.
‘But something alarming seems to have happened… is my leg pink? By the way, the surgical team played me some brilliant Chappell Roan tunes,” she added.
Leila’s fans took to the comments to wish her a speedy recovery and comment on the color of her leg.
“Hope you feel better soon,” said one follower, while another wrote: “Dear God, legendary Pink Pony Club leg,” referencing Chappell’s hit song Roan.
‘If you take Pink Pony Club a little too literally. Still looking sharp in a hospital gown,” one follower added.

Leila explained that the discoloration was from a post-surgery disinfectant.

Although she did not specify which, Leila did not appear to have attended a concert or visited a mountain at the time.
