Leigh-Anne Pinnock ‘WON’T release a music video alongside her new solo single Stealin Love after failing to impress label Warner Records’

Leigh-Anne Pinnock will release a new solo single, Stealin Love, this week, but her record label ‘won’t pay for a music video’.

The former Little Mix star, 32, announced last week that she will be dropping five new songs “that fit together in their own world.”

But insiders have now revealed her label Warner Records will not approve a video on release after she ‘failed to impress’ with solo singles Don’t Say Love and My Love.

Leigh-Anne has reportedly already had to pour her own money into her solo career after not receiving the ‘financial support she was hoping for’.

A source said The mirror: ‘There was so much excitement surrounding Leigh-Anne’s solo career, but that seemed to die down after the first two songs.

‘Warner heavily supported Don’t Say Love for her debut, but was disappointed with the way it charted. The same was true of My Love.

“There is no doubt that Leigh-Anne is a huge talent and building solo success can take some time. But lately she has struggled to get the financial support she was hoping for — so much so that she has even contributed to the campaign herself. And now her latest song, Stealin Love, is released without a video.’

Leigh-Anne announced on Instagram last week that she will be releasing new music, just days after her former bandmate Perrie Edwards, 30, also revealed she was releasing her first solo single.

Leigh-Anne, who launched her solo career in June 2023 after the band split in 2022, told fans that ‘*** is going to be very real’ as she has been in the studio ‘writing and recording’.

The singer revealed that separate from her album, she has created a “collection of songs that go together” and will release them separately starting next week.

The mother of two shared a photo gallery from the studio and revealed that the first song is called Stealin Love.

She wrote, “I wrote and recorded so much while working on my album, but as I made it, I created a collection of songs that fit together in their own world.

In a short clip shared alongside the announcement, Leigh-Anne can be seen dancing to the audio of one of her songs.

The upbeat song contained the lyrics: ‘When’s it going to end, creepin up again, no no no’.

The star quickly drove fans crazy with the news as they took to the comments to share their excitement, including her bandmate Jade Thirlwall, who wrote: ‘Yessssss’.

It comes after Perrie announced her new solo music last week when she revealed her first song is called Forget About Us, which is currently available to pre-order.

The mother-of-one signed with Columbia Records, who also have Harry Styles and Beyoncé on their books.

She’s been busy promoting her new song on social media in recent days, including sharing a video of herself stripping down to a green bikini.

In a 30-second teaser clip, Perrie danced to her new song with the lyrics: ‘I don’t want you to ever forget us, I know we were never perfect, but I think about the life we ​​never had.

“Yes, we both found different loves, we moved on now, but I never want you to forget us.”

She wrote: ‘You didn’t think I would only give you seven seconds, did you? Forget Us is available soon. You can now pre-save’.

In February, Perrie hosted a private listening party for some of her fans, known as Auras, in London.

She played three new songs for them, making fans think an album might be released soon.

Little Mix announced their split in December 2021, when they revealed the trio would be taking a break after 10 ‘amazing’ years together.

Since splitting from bandmate Leigh-Anne, she has embarked on a successful solo career and even received Glamour’s Musician of the Year award last October.
