Leigh-Anne Pinnock ‘takes swipe at husband Andre Gray during first solo gig as she says she chose to forgive him’ after admitting their long-distance relationship has been ‘hell’
Leigh-Anne Pinnock reportedly took a swipe at her husband Andre Gray during her first solo performance in London on Wednesday evening.
The singer, 32, celebrated the release of her EP, No Hard Feelings, with a concert in Lafayette, with her soccer player partner, also 32, in the audience.
However, after releasing her new song and some of her biggest hits with Little Mix, Leigh-Anne reportedly opened up about the pain Andre has caused her.
She recently revealed that their relationship had been “hell” for the past two years as they only saw each other about two days a month due to their work commitments.
Andre plays football in Saudi Arabia, while Leigh-Anne stayed in Britain to work on her new music and raise their two-year-old twins.

According to The sunDuring the performance, a spoken word interlude was played as Leigh-Anne was switched off stage, where she opened up about the difficult period, mentioning “crying” and asking her husband: “Why would you do this to us?”
They report that she said: ‘Exciting but dangerous. Six months of bliss and hell. A stolen kiss that becomes pure when we are together. But how do you say it does me any good?
‘The images, the thoughts. The phone that once connected us, now a constant reminder. What are you doing? What is going on? Why would you do this to us?’
She added: ‘All I could see was white from the mysterious eyes of my bed. My duvet keeps me warm now. The patterns, the running, the crying? Our forbidden beginning.
‘What I know is that I love you. That we are one whole, made of two. So I chose to open my heart to forgive. Restarting. We are sun and summer. Destined to last.
“I saw who you chose when our two became four and completed our circle. You chose us. You have chosen not to be a replica. You know how to be a father, and I don’t know how you do it.’
Much of Leigh-Anne’s debut EP focuses on her rocky relationship with Andre, whom she tied the knot with last summer.
Last month she opened up about the difficulties of their long-distance romance, admitting: “I can’t do it anymore.”

Speaking about the Table manners podcast, Leigh-Anne explained: ‘We are in a long-distance relationship. He lives in Saudi Arabia and plays football there.
“So for the last two years we’ve basically been apart and seeing each other maybe two days a month. To be honest, it was hell.”
When asked if he was likely to move again when his current contract expires, she admitted: “I can’t do it anymore. I can not do it. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Leigh-Anne was asked if she blames Andre for living so far away while she cares for their two children.
She said: ‘I try not to do it because I know what he’s doing it for, he’s doing it for us. But it’s so hard having two two-and-a-half-year-old children.’
Speaking about his contract in Saudi Arabia, she continued: ‘It actually expires this summer, so he’ll be home next week. I’m so excited.
“Then family – treasured, beautiful time. But we don’t know [what’s next]. But that’s the advantage of being with a footballer: you don’t know where you’ll end up.
“I can’t move anywhere with him because obviously I can’t have a career where he goes. I have to be local.”

It comes after Leigh-Anne released her fourth single Forbidden Fruit last month, which contained lyrics suggesting she cheated on her ex to be with Andre.
She described the song as having “sweaty, sultry reggae dance vibes” and revealed that it tells the story of when she and Andre first met.
And if the lyrics of Forbidden Fruit are to be believed, Leigh-Anne wasn’t exactly faithful to her ex on her forever journey with Andre.
Leigh-Anne shouts, ‘Where do I start? Woke up in someone’s bed, oh no. I have one to stay with and one to stay away from.
“He did it and I wasn’t really innocent, oh no… Devil in a dress, would you have helplessly known it wasn’t right when we left together.”
Leigh-Anne even hints that Andre also cheated with the final lyric: ‘Broke a couple hearts just to be forever, if they mad, anywhere’.
The beautiful couple got married in 2023 and share two daughters, the names of which they have not revealed.

Speaking about the making of the song, Leigh-Anne said: “I wrote Forbidden Fruit at a writing camp in Miami, and it’s really about how Andre and I met.
‘This one gives me sweaty, sultry reggae dance vibes. The way the beat drops makes me so excited to bring this on stage.
