An award-winning panel show returns in a few months for its nineteenth series, with a star-studded line-up.

Legendary sports quiz show A League Of Their Own is returning to Sky Max and NOW this autumn – and there’s still room for fans in the studio audience, reports TV zone.

Beloved comedian Romesh Ranganathan is making a comeback as presenter, but Sky has yet to confirm whether former team captains Jamie Redknapp and Jill Scott will also return.

It has also not yet been announced whether series regulars Mo Gilligan and Micah Richards will return to the screen, or if fans will instead encounter new celebrities.

The BAFTA-winning sports comedy series welcomes stars from the worlds of sport, comedy and television to join the Red and Blue teams each week, as they compete for points over three rounds.

The programme first aired on Sky One in March 2010 and was presented by James Corden for the first thirteen seasons, before Romesh took over the programme.

And it looks like host Romesh is going to be busy as The sun have reported that the presenter is likely to host a new series of the iconic children’s programme Art Attack.

The ITV programme, which saw 67-year-old national star Neil Buchanan showcase his artistic talent from 1990 to 2007, will reportedly now be presented by the comedian.

Romesh, who doesn’t exactly have a great reputation for his artistic talents, will have some big boys to fill in his new role, as his predecessor was such a good artist that he was accused of being the secret artist Banksy.

In 2020, the rumors spread so quickly on social media that Neil felt compelled to respond to them publicly.

Speculation has been mounting that the British TV personality, 67, is the elusive artist after a Twitter user’s post about the conspiracy theory went viral.

The user, who has been retweeted over 2,000 times, wrote: ‘Just heard there’s rumours going around that Neil Buchanan is Banksy. If that’s true it’s the funniest shit ever. Aintree’s finest.

A spokesperson for Neil wrote a statement on his website saying they had been inundated with inquiries from people wanting to verify the rumors.

They dismissed the suggestion, writing: ‘Unfortunately, this website does not have the infrastructure to answer all of these questions individually, but we can confirm that there is absolutely no truth to the rumor.

‘Neil spent lockdown with vulnerable members of his family and is now preparing for the launch of his new art collection in 2021. Thank you and stay safe.’

Romesh also recently confirmed that his hit BBC comedy series Avoidance has been ‘cancelled’ after just two seasons.

He recently sadly announced that his hit series Avoidance, which first aired in June 2022, will unfortunately not return for a third season.

He also revealed that the show, in terms of its airtime, was inspired by another beloved BBC series.

In an interview with Tom Davis on his podcast, the comedian said: “Luckily the commissioners took care of that for me.”

To which Tom replied, “How come you didn’t do a third season of that sitcom?” And Romesh replied, “Oh, because we thought the story had already been told.”

He continued: ‘We follow the Office model – just two and done.’
