Susanna still tours with The Bangles after they reunited in the late 1990s.
The band recorded their last album Sweetheart of the Sun in 2011.
Despite enjoying great success, the foursome split in 1990 but later reunited for the 1999 Austin Power film, which featured Get The Girl for the film.
Following its release, they enjoyed a tour in the early 2000s and recorded a new album, Doll Revolution, which inevitably saw bandmate Michael Steele leave the group once and for all.
The band scored several hit singles over the decades with Maniac Monday and Walk Like An Egyptian.
Yet Susanna recently revealed that perhaps one of their most famous songs, Eternal Flame, was almost never released after the other Bangles member rejected the song.
The American singer-songwriter explained that her bandmates Vicki Peterson and her sister Debbi and Micki Steele did not want it on the third album.
She told The Mirror: ‘The band rejected that song and I was devastated, I was mortified.
“I took the Eternal Flame cassette with me everywhere and asked people if I could show them the new song I had just written.”

She continued, “I was really excited about it, but then we had a band meeting about our third album, Everything, and it got rejected.
‘There were four members of the band and everyone got three songs on the album, it was very conscripted, almost terrifying.
‘Halfway through the making of the album, our last record of the ’80s, the producer said, “You know what, Sue? I think Eternal Flame should be on the record.”
“And I said, ‘Yes! Please, please'”.
