Legendary Australian rock music icon Garry Van Egmond dies aged 82 – as friends and colleagues celebrate his incredible career touring bands like AC/DC
Experienced Australian music promoter Garry Van Egmond has died at the age of 82.
The Melbourne-based rock promoter, who was responsible for AC/DC’s tours for thirty years, died on Saturday morning after complications following surgery.
He is survived by his daughter Katie, son Christo and grandchildren Hugo and Saskia.
Friends and family confirmed his death Sunday evening.
