  • Leeds United have confirmed that 49ers Enterprises will buy the football club

Leeds United have confirmed an agreement between Asher Ventures and 49ers Enterprises whereby the latter will buy the football club.

Leeds were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last month and wanted to regroup as a Championship side.

Now their US shareholders – who have been minority shareholders since 2018 – have struck a deal for a full takeover – ending Andrea Radrizzani’s ownership of Leeds United.

A club statement read: Leeds United can confirm that an agreement has been reached between Asher Ventures and 49ers Enterprises to purchase the club.

“Both sides continue to work out the details and more updates will be coming soon.

“All our focus remains on a quick return to the Premier League.”
