Leeds United fans couldn’t contain their excitement last night as Dan James slotted home a superb through ball from Mateo Joseph to secure their first three points of the season for the third time.
Fans jumped in ecstasy as a sea of yellow players surrounded them to celebrate James’ goal.
But one man who got swept up in the mosh pit of the festivities caught the attention of most… for a very strange reason.
During the festivities, a bald man rushes to the sidelines. He wants to share the moment with the players, but you can’t help but notice that he’s holding up a cake to keep the crazies from getting into the game, but he’s failing miserably.
While celebrating with the other fans, the cake tragically begins to fall apart and he loses control and falls over the billboard.

The joyous Leeds supporter stormed to the front of the crowd to celebrate with James and Co, but he wouldn’t let his cake down
Despite falling through the billboard, he managed to keep the cake safe and even took a bite of it once all the festivities were over.
His quick thinking could have saved the day though, as the dedicated Leeds fan is thrown through the advertising hoarding, he still manages to take a few bites of his cake, so the game is not completely lost.
His impressive ability to hold the pie made him an instant fan favourite on social media platform ‘X’, with one supporter writing ‘Shout out to the lad with the pie’, followed by two laughing emojis.
Another social media user said: ‘Absolute cinema for that 2nd goal from Leeds there. Bald guy with a cake, dives into the celebration, falls over the advertising hoardings, takes a big bite of the cake while lying horizontal. The Championship is the best league in the world.
A third added: ‘This Leeds fan tries to save his pie, loses its filling and then takes a bite anyway,’ followed by four laughing emojis.

Although the festivities are wild, they are justified.
The Whites secured their first Championship win of the season on Friday night after failing in their first two attempts.
Daniel Farke’s team, who looked set to return to the English top division last season, drew 3-3 with newly promoted Portsmouth on the opening day.
Before losing their second league game against Bournemouth, they finished in a draw.
This week, however, Farke’s team looked back to their old selves, despite losing several star players during this transfer window last season.
Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville all left for the Premier League.
