LeBron James wore an eye-catching outfit worth more than $28,000 from Louis Vuitton before the NBA season opener between the Los Angeles Lakers and defending champion Denver Nuggets.

Before starting his 21st season, James wore a $5,000 damoflage tweed chic collarless jacket, $1,250 pants and the $1,220 LV plaid derby shoes, according to TMZ.

The outfit also included a Speedy Bandouliere 40 worth $11,000, while the suitcase he was holding would have set him back another $9,500.

Parts of the outfit, including the top and briefcase, were featured in Pharrell’s spring-summer 2024 men’s collection for Louis Vuitton.

Outside of the enormous price tag of James’ outfit, the Lakers lacked much to be desired in a 119-107 loss to the Nuggets.

After the game, his head coach Darvin Ham indicated that James’ minutes would likely remain around that number going forward, although that could depend on how the season goes.

If the Lakers stick to that plan, this would be the lowest number of minutes James has played on average throughout his career.

Considering James has struggled with injuries in recent years, the reduced playing time could be a way to keep him both this season and beyond.

James has long talked about wanting to play in the NBA with his eldest son Bronny James, and that seems more possible every year.

Bronny is currently a freshman at USC and will be eligible to play in the NBA next season.

However, James is now considering expanding his career even further and also playing with his youngest son Bryce, according to recent comments from his wife Savannah in a Beats advertising campaign.
