Bryce James will fit in for Notre Dame this seasonā€¦ Notre Dame High School, that is.

After playing at Sierra Canyon High School for the past two seasons – along with his older brother Bronny – but has decided to play elsewhere.

In May, LeBron James’ 16-year-old son said he would be transferring to Campbell Hall High School in another part of Los Angeles.

Even after playing with Campbell Hall in an Arizona tournament – and spending a few months in their program – Bryce has opted to move to Notre Dame.

Los Angeles Times reporter Eric Sondheimer reported in late July that Bryce had “made inquiries” about attending Notre Dame.

According to Sondheimer, Notre Dame head coach Matt Sargeant revealed that James had his first practice with the team on Wednesday.

Bryce joins the likes of Mercy Miller – a four-star recruit and the son of rapper Master P – and three-star recruit Jayden Harper.

According to Tarek Fattal, a Campbell Hall school official confirmed that Bryce had unenrolled.

Bryce’s transfer to Notre Dame had been “in progress for weeks,” but was further delayed following Bronny’s sudden cardiac arrest at USC.
