LeBron James’ record-breaking night sends Lakers ticket prices tumbling as courtside seats for Thursday’s game plunge from $100,000 apiece to less than $12,000 after the scoring mark of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to go down Tuesday night in Los Angeles

Ticket prices for Thursday’s Bucks-Lakers game in Los Angeles just got significantly more affordable.

With LeBron James edging out Lakers legend Kareen Abdul-Jabbar for the NBA scoring record on Tuesday at Crypto.com Arena, Thursday’s matchup with visiting Milwaukee has been stripped of its historical significance, which has sent ticket prices plummeting.

On Tuesday, with James still 35 points away from tying Abdul-Jabbar, Ticketmaster had a pair of courtside seats in Thursday’s game for $200,000, not including fees.

But with James’ 38-point effort in Tuesday’s loss to the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder, courtside seats for Thursday’s game against the Bucks are now under $12,000, and the lowest prices on the Ticketmaster scalpers drop below $200.

And this drop in lawsuits actually started before Tuesday’s announcement in Los Angeles.
