The widely reported $332 million offer to PSG – excluding the reported $770 million Mbappé could earn from the one-year contract offer – stunned the sporting world.

Milwaukee Bucks franchise player Giannis Antetokounmpo received a response from Mbappe when he tweeted Monday; “Al Hilal, you can take me with you. “I look like Kylian Mbappé,” in response to a report that the Frenchman was not interested in the offer.

Mbappe responded with several laughing responses – his only public reaction to the since the life-changing proposal came to light.

Now James has joined conservation, hilariously suggesting he pack his bags for Saudi Arabia.

Former James teammate JR Smith said he would consider joining the Saudi-backed LIV Gulf in ’22

“I went to Saudi Arabia when they called @RichPaul4 & @mavcarter for that 1 year deal!” next to a gif of Forrest Gump sprinting,” James tweeted Monday night.

For context, the highest-earning year in James’ NBA career will be 2023-24. According to spotrachis base salary will be $47.6 million – more than $700 million less than what Mbappé could bring in if he left Paris.

Former James teammate JR Smith — who now plays college golf at North Carolina A&T State — tweeted in 2022 that he would consider joining the cashed-in Saudi-backed LIV Golf.

‘[$]200ms [sic] s*** it would be a great conversation, especially if I’m not “McIlroyRory level,” he said in response to Mail Sport news editor Alex Raskin.

Al-Hilal’s bid would eclipse Neymar’s £198 million move from Barcelona to PSG as the most expensive transfer in football history.

It is rumored that the Saudi Pro League side could include an escape clause in a lucrative contract that could see Mbappé sign for Real Madrid next summer.

Mbappé has long been keen on a move to Madrid, with many believing a free transfer to the Spanish giants in 2024 is just a formality.
