LeBron James and Anthony Davis led Team USA in their upset win over Serbia ahead of the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The Lakers duo gained revenge on Nikola Jokic, while “ego” allegations could derail the Star and Stripes’ quest for gold.
James, 39, faced the ‘Joker’ for the first time since the Lakers were defeated 4-1 in the playoffs in April and scored five points in the USA’s 105-74 victory in Abu Dhabi.
Davis, 31, scored just three points but blocked Jokic emphatically in the first half.
Warriors guard Steph Curry was the US’s top scorer in the game with 18 points.
