LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony watch as their sons Bronny, Bryce and Kiyan face off in a high school game 21 years after their famous parents first played the game…and Kim Kardashian and Scottie Pippen are among the packed audience! of stars there to see it too!

Bronny James, Bryce James and Kiyan Anthony were the star attractions in one of the most anticipated high school basketball games in history on Monday night.

The superstar trio faced off in front of a celebrity crowd in Los Angeles, with the James brothers’ Sierra Canyon beating Anthony’s Christ the King 62-51 to move to a 7-1 record for the season.

While the result may have mattered to some of the attendees, most were just there to watch the sons of NBA legends LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony square off 21 years after their famous parents first met.

The star-studded audience included Kim Kardashian, Scottie Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr, Kenyon Martin, Penny Hardaway and Juju Watkins, as the game was broadcast live to the nation on ESPN2.

At halftime, LeBron and Melo were photographed hugging on the court, before engaging in a lengthy conversation, no doubt about their sons’ first-half exploits.

The legendary NBA couple met for the first time in February 2002 at Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey with 11,000 fans in attendance.

Although there were far fewer in Sierra Canyon on Monday, there were certainly some basketball royalty in the room to watch the action unfold.

Anthony and James played together for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, but Melo is currently a free agent while he weighs his next move.

When interviewed at halftime by ESPN, he explained his desire to return to the NBA, but admitted that any decision was currently out of his hands.

“I realize that there are many things that are not in my control,” he said. “Then I can sit back and let it play out, and whatever it is, it will be and I accept it.”

On the court in Los Angeles on Monday, Kiyan Anthony finished with 10 points, but he was dwarfed by an impressive display from Bronny James, who scored 12 points.

However, the best player on the court was Sierra Canyon’s Isiah Elohim with 17 points, while Christ the King’s best player was Brandon Williams (16 points).
