CAD files for what is claimed to be the iPhone 16 Pro recently surfaced online, giving people an idea of what Apple’s upcoming flagship could look like.
According to tech news site 91mobilesthe smartphone will look similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, with some notable differences. Firstly, the 16 Pro may be slightly larger than the current model, measuring 149.6 x 71.4 x 8.4mm. Industry sources further say that it will have a 6.1-inch screen. There is a discrepancy with this older leaks claim that the mobile device will have a 6.3-inch screen. However, 91mobiles is leaning more towards the larger screen due to the newly mentioned dimensions and the fact that the renders show thinner bezels around the glass.
The biggest revision in the files is the inclusion of the rumors Capture Button This is located below the power button on the right side. The Capture button, if you’re not familiar with it, should help users take better photos by making the process more comfortable. You don’t have to tap the screen to take the shot.
The Capture Button’s full capabilities have been a mystery, although a report from January offers some insight. Lightly tapping the capture button focuses the camera, while a full press of the button takes a photo – just like the shutter button on a traditional camera.

On the back, the rear camera apparently has the same triple-lens design as on the iPhone 15 Pro. Normally this wouldn’t be major news, but another rumor from February claimed that Apple would ditch the round camera platform and replace it with a triangular one. People thought this would be the new design moving forward. However, it looks like Apple is sticking with the tried-and-true look.
91mobiles goes on to say that the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a 5X tetraprism telephoto camera. The iPhone 15 Pro Max has the same type of lens and the images it captures are stunning. It is unknown whether the 16 Pro will have optical image stabilization. The technology is not mentioned in the leak. Presumably this will be the case, as zoomed shots benefit enormously from robust stabilization. Other possible features of the iPhone 16 Pro include a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 3,355mAh battery.
