“I’ve never had a miscarriage before,” she told the podcast host. “The first time I was like, ‘That was weird.’
‘When it happened again right away, I thought, “Wait a minute. Something’s not right.”‘
After the second miscarriage, she wanted to ‘take a break’ from trying to conceive, feeling that it was ‘not the right time yet’.
Michele shared that she suffered a third miscarriage, which she said was “super difficult” and “really painful” for her.
It wasn’t until a little later [that] “I had another one,” she explained. “I was working at the time. It was super challenging to … process what we were going through at the same time, which was very painful.”
She said she wanted to find an explanation and decided to ‘dive deeper into what [was] ‘happens.’

Her candid confession and vulnerable recollection come after she revealed the gender of her second baby.
After her sweet Mother’s Day message, she also revealed which specific nicknames she didn’t want to give her child.
Last week she told Access to Hollywood that she would never name her child after her Glee character Rachel Berry.
When it comes to choosing a name for her baby, she said she and Reich are “close” to a final decision.
“We’re close. We’re definitely close,” she admitted. “My husband is so surprised that I’m the one who’s actually holding us up.”
She continued: ‘Usually I think, “We need to figure this out,” so far in advance. But I don’t know.
“I think with our son, we knew the name right away,” she said. “It was very easy for us.
“And this time it’s about the theme that things are different this time. But I think we’re getting close. But we have to hurry!”

Michele continued to go through her list of crossed-off names.
‘Everyone wants Rachel. Will it be Fanny? Will it be Barbra? I would never do that to my child!’
She continued: ‘But I have to point to a name that makes sense. Is there a connection to something I’ve done in the past?
“It’s not going to be Barbra or Rachel or Hester. I think I’d be more inclined to do a ‘Berry’ because I think that’s kind of cool. Something like that. It would be a little bit… it can’t be quite so on the nose.”
