Lea Michele and her husband Zandy Reich are now the proud parents of two children.

The 37-year-old actress announced the birth of their second child together, a daughter named Emery Sol Reich.

She shared an adorable snap of the baby wrapped in a blanket as the family feasted on the new addition.

“Our hearts are so full,” she captioned the post, along with two heart emojis. “Emery Sol Reich,” she added, revealing the child’s name.

Lea and her husband are also parents of a four-year-old son, Ever Leo Reich.

The Glee alumna announced her pregnancy in March, sharing snaps of herself holding her baby bump. “Mommy, daddy and Ever are so happy,” she captioned the post.

On Mother’s Day, she revealed the gender of her baby by sharing a photo of her baby bump.

“The most beautiful Mother’s Day today, holding my son who made me a mommy… and carrying my daughter,” she wrote alongside a photo of her belly.

Last month, Lea spoke openly about the difficulties she faced in conceiving her second child.

The star revealed that she suffered three miscarriages, surgeries and countless injections before finally falling pregnant with her daughter.

During an appearance on the BDA Baby podcast with Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, Lea discussed her struggles with fertility and her endometriosis diagnosis.

She shared that the journey to conceive a child with her husband was much more difficult than they had anticipated.

The couple were “shocked” when she initially had “two consecutive, very early, failed pregnancies.”

The 37-year-old actress said she suffered a total of three miscarriages, had to undergo surgery and had “a thousand shots” before finally becoming pregnant with her unborn daughter

“I’ve never had a miscarriage before,” she told the podcast host. “The first time I was like, ‘That was weird.’

‘When it happened again right away, I thought, “Wait a minute. Something’s not right.”‘

After the second miscarriage, she wanted to ‘take a break’ from trying to conceive, feeling that it was ‘not the right time yet’.

Michele shared that she suffered a third miscarriage, which she said was “super difficult” and “really painful” for her.

It wasn’t until a little later [that] “I had another one,” she explained. “I was working at the time. It was super challenging to … process what we were going through at the same time, which was very painful.”

She said she wanted to find an explanation and decided to ‘dive deeper into what [was] ‘happens.’

After a visit to the doctor, the funny girl was diagnosed with endometriosis.

She said she had to undergo surgery and was “prescribed so many medications and drugs and [got] a thousand shots before I finally got pregnant.

She got vulnerable about her fertility issues and endometriosis diagnosis. She opened up about conceiving her second child with husband Zandy Reich, recalling how her second pregnancy was “not at all what I expected.” [they] expected' when they '[started] 'try to think of'

Michele and her husband are already parents to their three-year-old son Ever, whom they welcomed together in August 2020.

During her first pregnancy she also had trouble getting pregnant, which she thought was due to polycystic ovary syndrome.

After that experience, she said she hoped “getting pregnant a second time would be easy.”

Her candid confession and vulnerable recollection come after she revealed the gender of her second baby.

After her sweet Mother’s Day message, she also revealed which specific nicknames she didn’t want to give her child.

Last week she told Access to Hollywood that she would never name her child after her Glee character Rachel Berry.

When it comes to choosing a name for her baby, she said she and Reich are “close” to a final decision.

“We’re close. We’re definitely close,” she admitted. “My husband is so surprised that I’m the one who’s actually holding us up.”

She continued: ‘Usually I think, “We need to figure this out,” so far in advance. But I don’t know.

“I think with our son, we knew the name right away,” she said. “It was very easy for us.

“And this time it’s about the theme that things are different this time. But I think we’re getting close. But we have to hurry!”

Michele continued to go through her list of crossed-off names.

‘Everyone wants Rachel. Will it be Fanny? Will it be Barbra? I would never do that to my child!’

She continued: ‘But I have to point to a name that makes sense. Is there a connection to something I’ve done in the past?

“It’s not going to be Barbra or Rachel or Hester. I think I’d be more inclined to do a ‘Berry’ because I think that’s kind of cool. Something like that. It would be a little bit… it can’t be quite so on the nose.”
