Al-Hilal has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic for £34million.
The Serbia international, who Premier League clubs have long admired, will earn around £17 million net per season in Saudi Arabia.
He still has to undergo his medical this week, but it is clear that the two clubs have agreed on the transfer.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has spoken out about his eagerness to keep the 28-year-old, but the player has been looking for a transfer since January.
Now the star’s wishes are about to come true, according to Sky Sports Italy.

The move will undoubtedly send a shock wave through Italian football as Milinkovic-Savic has established himself as one of Serie A’s best midfielders.
During eight seasons in the capital, the colorful character has drawn comparisons to the likes of Yaya Toure for his completeness as a midfielder.
Considered one of the best midfielders of the last decade in Serie A, he won the 2018-19 Coppa Italia with Lazio, opening the scoring in the 82nd minute as they won 2-0 against Atalanta.
Although he scores consistently with goals – he has 69 goals in 341 appearances for Lazio and scored 11 last season – he contributes equally to the defensive phases of the game, and at 6ft 8in he is a dominant character in aborting attacks.
In 2018/19 he was named the best midfielder of Serie A.
He has been a target for Liverpool and Arsenal in the past, with Manchester United chasing him last summer.
With only a year left at Lazio, he leaves the Stadio Olimpico cheaply. That is what President Lotito recently said Il Messaggero that he once turned down a £119 million offer from AC Milan for the midfielder.
If the transfer goes through in full, he will re-join Marcelo Brozovic, who recently left Inter Milan for Saudi club Al-Nassr for £15 million.
