Police will hold a news conference Friday about a woman whose death was initially believed to have been caused by a lawnmower rollover.
Frances Crawford, 49, was found dead at her home in Upper Lockyer, southeast Queensland, in the early hours of July 30 after police received reports she had been seriously injured by a ride-on mower.
However, police confirmed days later that her death was being treated as suspicious.
Queensland Police are expected to release further details about Ms Crawford’s death at a press conference at 10am on Friday.
“Detective Chief Inspector George Marchesini will provide an update and appeal to the media in relation to a suspicious death investigation in the Lockyer Valley,” a police spokesman said.
Det Spt Marchesini previously told reporters that detectives were still trying to establish how Ms Crawford suffered horrific injuries.
“There are a number of things we need to understand better to determine what caused it and how this actually happened,” he said.
“We have not been able to determine cause in relation to what was discovered at the scene, hence we determine this case to be suspicious.

‘If [you] If you have knowledge of the woman and you hear this information coming out this week, we want to hear from them what they do know.’
Her husband Robert, who made the triple-0 call, had helped detectives with their investigation.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest Crawford was involved in his wife’s death.
