Lavish Palm Beach chateau – designed by the same architect who helped build Mar-a-Lago – hits the market for $37.5M and features a pool house and SEVEN bedrooms
A 1958 mansion in Florida is currently for sale for $37.5 million.
The more than 13,000-square-foot Palm Beach home was designed by Marion Sims Wyeth — a New York architect who designed exterior features for places like the Mar-a-Lago and the La Claridad.
The 7-bedroom, 13-bathroom residence features an elevator, a formal dining room and a beautiful outdoor living area with a patio and a 12 x 20 meter swimming pool.
A homeowner first sold the mansion for $4.3 million in 1998, and the house was sold again in 2004 for $7.3 million.
Two offers to purchase the house were made in April and May of this year, but neither sale went through and the house has been for sale ever since.

The agent called this home one of Wyeth’s “classic Palm Beach masterpieces.”
It is one of several mansions near Lake Worth Lagoon and Palmsicle Island.
The home is also within walking distance of Wyeth’s famous Mar-a-Lago club, which Wyeth designed for American businesswoman and socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post.
Guests who choose to stay in the house can also take advantage of the beautiful separate guest house with custom woodwork throughout the property.
Each bedroom is different from each other, but they are all light colored to fit into any classic Florida home or beach house. Several bedrooms also have windows that are not too large, but bring the perfect amount of sunlight into a room when the lights are off
The country house has a total of 13 bathrooms: 9 full bathrooms and 4 half bathrooms. Their unique designs with different themes and color schemes make them all different in ways that have nothing to do with which bathroom has or doesn’t have a bathtub
The living room is a great sitting area that is spacious for children who may want to run around. Like the dining room, people sitting in this room can get a beautiful view of the vegetable garden
Granite countertops and white cabinets are just two features of this beautifully designed kitchen. The dining room is spacious for those who want to host large dinner parties, and people can get beautiful views of the gardens that can be used for outdoor entertainment
The many bedrooms and bathrooms all have hardwood floors and offer plenty of space for any adult or child who wants to use them.
Some rooms put a more modern spin on a home, while others stick to a 1950s-style design that could be similar to what Wyeth originally created.
People can choose a bedroom with a large or a small window with a beautiful view of the garden and the surrounding houses on the street.
It’s unclear if each bedroom has a bathroom, but some photos show full bathrooms similar to some of the bedrooms in the mansion.
A study that can be used as a home office or small living room, the built-in bookshelves blend perfectly with the room walls and are a book lover’s dream for those who own large collections. The shelves are ideal for storing decorative items or simple things that you just don’t want to lose
The 40’x20′ pool is surrounded by beautiful green trees and fenced with a pool cabana. The terrace and garden are nearby, and the atmosphere alone provides wonderful entertainment for swimmers and outdoor enthusiasts
The backyard was designed by Mario Nievera – a highly renowned architect in Florida who is the co-founder of one of the leading landscape architecture firms in the country called Nievera Williams. It features beautiful gardens, a swimming pool and a patio
The backyard was designed by renowned outdoor architect Mario Nievera, who founded Nievera Williams with Keith Williams in 2007.
According to the agent, the outdoor areas also include elegant coconut trees surrounding the property.
The mansion also has two benches under the trees in a quieter area of the house – a great place for someone to read or to sit and think.
