Laverne Cox wore an elegant look to attend The King’s Trust 2024 Global Gala, held Thursday at Cipriani South Street in Lower Manhattan.

King Charles III originally founded his charity – formerly known as The Prince’s Trust – in 1976 and has reportedly helped 1.2 million young people and communities in 23 countries.

Buckingham Palace announced the 75-year-old monarch’s cancer diagnosis on February 5, and his daughter-in-law Catherine, Princess of Wales, announced on March 22 that she was also diagnosed with cancer following a planned abdominal surgery.

The transgender pioneer – who turned 52 this month – showed off substantial cleavage in a beige tank dress with gold leopard print detail, under a light blue maxi coat.
