Lauryn Goodman defends Dave Grohl and praises his ‘lovely worded statement’ after Foo Fighters star admitted to fathering secret love child and cheating on his wife

Lauryn Goodman has defended Dave Grohl after he admitted to fathering a child ‘outside of wedlock’.

It’s no surprise that the 33-year-old TV personality has been thinking about this, considering he has two children with married footballer Kyle Walker.

Lauryn revealed on Instagram on Wednesday that several of her followers had sent her Dave’s message, which read, “I recently became a father to a new baby daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.

‘I love my wife and children and I will do everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.

“We are grateful for your attention to all the children involved as we move forward together.”

She praised his choice of words, writing, “He puts all of his children first, with or without an ultimatum. What a beautiful way to put it.”

Dave has been married to director Jordyn Blum since 2003 and together they have daughters Violet (18), Harper (15) and Ophelia (10).

Jordyn has not publicly commented on her husband’s infidelity. Since the announcement, his two eldest daughters have both deleted their social media accounts.

In January, Lauryn’s ex Kyle was embroiled in a paternity scandal when it was dramatically revealed that he was the father of Lauryn’s second child, 13-month-old Kinara, four years after they welcomed son Kairo.

He was then expecting his fourth child with his wife Annie Kilner.

The Manchester City star broke his silence on the scandal in an Instagram post, sharing: ‘Annie is a wonderful woman and I can only apologize for any upset I may have caused her.

‘She has been a part of my life for so long and that will never change, for the sake of our children.

“I would like to ask for privacy for our entire family, and especially our young children, as we go through these difficult times.”

In the months that followed, the exes became embroiled in a bitter feud.

Last week, Lauryn appeared to criticize Kyle again with a cryptic post.

She shared the following statement: “You are allowed to talk about what they did to you and how it hurt you.

“It doesn’t matter how they feel when you talk about it because if they wanted people to think better of them, they should have been better. My page is for you”

Lauryn wrote at the top of the post: ‘For anyone who needs it. Good night everyone.’

She shared the post days after messages she claimed were leaked between her and Kyle, discussing the paternity of their daughter.

This week she shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages she claims were from Kyle, showing he wanted to keep their daughter’s paternity a secret.

Along with the messages, Lauryn wrote: ‘The DNA comments I see. He [Kyle] I always knew the babies I had were his. DNAs are legal tactics.

“We already settled the house before she was even born. He wouldn’t do that if he didn’t know for sure she wasn’t his.”

One of the messages, believed to be from Kyle, reads: “Okay I believe you but you haven’t told her it’s from me yet.”

Lauryn replies, “She knows 100% it’s yours. She said, I know it’s his. I know you don’t know. [blank].

Another screenshot that Lauryn claims is of Kyle reads, “Sorry, I don’t mean to disappoint you. [cause] stress, you just stay informed.

‘About everything and what has been said about you etc.

If you have it and deny it, then it’s fine [were] Okay, and we’re making plans for the future.

‘What’s going to happen right now is not good to come out because it’s just a show with my actions and that needs to blow away’

Kyle shares children Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and five-month-old baby Rezon with woman Annie.

A source close to Kyle said: ‘Kyle was advised by his legal team to take a DNA test to confirm the paternity of the child. He has always retained financial responsibility for the children.

‘He keeps his own four sons out of the media spotlight and regrets that the other children affected by this situation are constantly dragged into the public unrest.

‘Kyle didn’t want it all to be public because of the enormous press interest and subsequent media campaigns, often led by Lauryn Goodman.’

The affair began when Lauryn met Kyle in 2019, when he was away from Annie.

Despite his infidelity and the birth of their son Kairo, Kyle and Annie remained together in Cheshire, while Lauryn raised her son hundreds of miles away in Brighton.

Last December, it was revealed that the daughter Lauryn gave birth to last summer was also Kyle’s.

Annie kicked Kyle out of their family home in Prestbury, Cheshire, and he moved into a flat nearby.

After Annie gave birth to their fourth son in April, they began to repair their marriage, reportedly on the condition that Kyle cut off all contact with Lauryn and their children.

Meanwhile, Lauryn is raising her children as a single mother in a £2.4million home in Hove, East Sussex, which Kyle bought for them as part of his maintenance obligations.
