The 34-year-old author and fashion blogger and her husband, 41, took to Instagram on Tuesday with a heartwarming clip revealing they’re adding to their family — which they say came as a “huge surprise.”
The couple’s announcement comes just over a year after they welcomed their first child, son Ryver, on April 3, 2033 after years of fertility struggles, an IVF journey and a lengthy home birth with complications.
The Redondo Beach, California resident captioned the clip: “This was a big surprise and the sweetest plot twist – can’t wait to see little Ryver become a big brother.”
In the montage, Scruggs and Kennedy, an entertainment journalist featured on E! and the Today show, could be heard telling his young son, “Peek a boo! You’re going to be a big brother.’
