Lauren Sanchez’s first $2m indie movie starring Jeff Bezos’s teen daughter descends into chaos

Jeff Bezos’ girlfriend Lauren Sanchez’s debut film project has been thrown into chaos amid reports that she enjoyed a “fancy” trailer and asked to land her helicopter on set as several crew members walked off.

Sanchez, 53, self-financed the $2 million psychological thriller “The Golden Door” which was filmed last summer and will feature a cameo appearance by Bezos’ teenage daughter.

But sources say the film set was “chaotic” and full of drama, though those close to Sánchez have responded by stating that she is a victim of “sexism.”

The cinematographer and assistant director left the project within the first three weeks, citing creative differences. page six reports.

Meanwhile, director Kellie Madison reportedly retired after handing in her director’s cut in November.

Bezos, who went public with his relationship with Sánchez in 2019, has so far managed to keep his daughter’s name a secret.

The Amazon founder shares three sons and a daughter with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, though he has managed to keep their lives extremely private.

His daughter’s presence in the film is likely to be a huge draw for audiences.

A production member told Page Six that the cinematographer was forced to leave in his first week of production due to a disagreement with then-director Madison.

The source said that he “wasn’t getting the creative vibe from the director.”

In week three the deputy director also left and both were replaced.

After Madison handed in his director’s cut in November, but has since left the project.

It means that Sanchez is left to find a new director to finish and remake the film, page six reports.
