The Koru has three decks and is 250 feet tall, making it the tallest sailing yacht in the world.
Boat International reported in April 2023 that it had three masts measuring over 70 metres in length.
The ship is 416 feet wide, making it one of only four yachts in the world longer than 328 feet.
The massive ship was built by Dutch company Oceano. The boat was the subject of controversy in February 2022 when Oceano asked Rotterdam to dismantle a more than 100-year-old bridge, the Koningshavenbrug, to install the Koru’s masts.
After local protests, Oceanco made alternative plans to install the masts.
The superyacht holds special significance for the couple: Lauren and Jeff are due to get engaged there in early 2023.
