Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that the sculpture that sits on the bow of the $500 million ship bears a striking resemblance to his glamorous girlfriend.

Lauren recently had a conversation Fashion to discuss the couple’s future plans – and to provide insight into their wedding plans.

She then discussed the inspiration behind the polished wooden statue that adorns Bezos’ boat, which he named Koru — a Maori word that translates to “new beginnings.”

Dressed in a flowing dress and with long hair, the curvaceous cut bears more than a few similarities to Lauren.

But she has now dismissed speculation that she inspired the design.

“I’m very flattered, but that’s not it,” the media personality told the publication.

Instead, she revealed that the statue was in fact based on one of her fiancé’s favorite mythological figures: Freyja, the Norse goddess of love, fertility, war and gold.

“If it was me…” Sánchez joked as she gestured that she had a much bigger bust.

Bezos had commissioned the ship more than five years ago.

The ship was then known as ‘Project 721’ and was built in the historic harbor of Zwijndrecht, near Rotterham in the Netherlands, by sailboat specialist Oceanco.

The Koru, which underwent sea trials in February before being handed over to Bezos, is the second largest sailing ship in the world – surpassed only by the Philippe Starcke-designed sailing yacht A, owned by Russian fertilizer billionaire Andrey Melnichenko.

Last year, before Koru had even been launched, the sheer size of her masts sparked an international controversy when Rotterdam announced that the center section of the 100-year-old Koningshaven Bridge would be removed so the superyacht could make its way to the North Sea. .

Reports say Bezos said he would pay to have the bridge dismantled and rebuilt, but his request was denied.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lauren opened up about her engagement to the billionaire businessman.

She revealed she blacked out when she saw her huge pink diamond ring when her boyfriend proposed to her at sea in May after they enjoyed dinner for two under the stars.

Having only been engaged for five months, the couple was still in the throes of deciding what kind of wedding they would have.

‘We’re still thinking about the wedding, what it’s going to be. Will it be big? Will it be abroad? We don’t know yet,” Lauren said, adding that she was more focused on Jeff’s 60th birthday party in January.
