Bride-to-be Lauren Sánchez didn’t seem to want to get too talky about her upcoming wedding to billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos during a TV interview.
During an appearance Wednesday on Today with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, Sánchez reluctantly gave viewers a sneak peek at her wedding plans after Guthrie asked her how the planning was going.
“So you asked?” Sánchez exploded as both cohosts gave her a laugh.
Although she was a bit sheepish, she did share a bit about what happened to her marriage.
“I’m really excited about it, when I think about the dress I have to say, I do have a Pinterest, I’m just like any other bride, so I do have a Pinterest board,” Sánchez admitted.
In case you’re not familiar, Pinterest is a social media app that allows users to save and share style and home inspiration.
It’s often used by brides to help organize their wedding planning and ideas – and it looks like the former Good Day LA host has jumped on the bandwagon just like the rest of us.
Sánchez, who has been engaged to Bezos since May 2023, has not publicly announced her wedding date, but The sun reported that it happened in Aspen this winter.

During the segment, she also admitted that at age 54, she never thought her life would be where it was today.
“I never thought about, I’m turning 55, you know, I was going to be an author, that I was going to get married, I mean life is just beginning,” the helicopter pilot admitted.
“When I was 20, I thought, ‘Oh my God, life is over at 50,’ I can tell you, but it’s not, ladies,” the mogul reassured the audience.
‘It’s not over yet, it’s just beginning. It just keeps getting better and better, and I always say when women say, “Oh, what’s it like turning 50?” It’s just the beginning.’
This isn’t the first time in recent months that Sánchez has dropped hints about her marriage and life with Bezos.
In September the journalist said Additional television that she was getting “very excited” about her wedding.
She even called the Amazon founder ‘the man of’ [her] dreams.’
‘You know what I’m most excited about? I get to marry the man of my dreams,” Sánchez told the outlet at the time.

“I do,” she continued. ‘He’s great. I get to spend the rest of my life with him and he loves my children. And that’s really what I’m looking forward to.’
The mogul’s appearance on Today comes just two days after she became emotional during an Amazon Live segment when she was asked a touching question by a fan tuning in.
On Monday, Sánchez sat down with model Ashley Graham for a Q&A on the platform to talk about her new children’s book, The Fly Who Flew To Space.
Towards the end of the stream, a fan named Caitlin asked the mogul what advice she would give her younger self.
“I would tell my younger self that you’re not stupid,” Sánchez admitted as she started to get emotional.
“It’s like, you know, you’re a little girl and you always think that, and you just want to pick her up,” the businesswoman admitted.
“I say this was the purpose of this book when I was writing it. It’s the 54-year-old me who hugged that eight-year-old girl and said, “You’re going to be okay.”
At this point, the pilot visibly looked a little upset as her eyes started to look shiny.
“Sorry, a little emotional,” she said.
Graham quickly consoled her friend, who said she “loved” Sánchez’s sentiment.
