Lauren Pope kicks off the festive season a little too early by putting up her Christmas tree as she reveals she had anxiety about the festive season last year due to being a single mother

Lauren Pope got into the Christmas spirit a little early this year when she put up the Christmas tree with her two children on Monday.

The model, 42, shared a glimpse of her festivities at home this year when she posted a sweet video to Instagram of her getting an early start to the holidays.

She appeared in great spirits as she got her two daughters, Raine Anais Keterman and Leni Star Keterman, whom she shares with her ex Tony, excited for Christmas.

The clip showed Lauren dressed in brown sweatpants and a white top as she decorated her tree with warm gold lights, pink and purple decorations and a large gold star.

At the end of the sweet clip, the blonde beauty hugged her two daughters as they prepared for the holidays.

She captioned her post: “I know it’s early but f*ck it…Why not

‘They asked and I had absolutely no reason to say no, so that’s how we spent our Sunday afternoon!

‘It’s also a moment of pride because last year at Christmas I felt quite nervous putting up the tree, but we were all so looking forward to it this year. Anyone who is having a hard time heading into the holidays and feeling overwhelmed, I feel you. I promise you the light is at the end of that tunnel, it just might take a while to find it!”

And Lauren isn’t the only celebrity to put up their tree early this year, as Kerry Katona had her home professionally decorated last week.

The former Atomic Kitten star, 44, showed off her two lush-looking Christmas trees when she shared a photo of her home transformation in early November.

In one room, Kerry placed a silver-decorated tree in the corner, topped with an arrangement of oversized silver baubles and frosted twigs.

In an adjacent room, the singer switched it up and had a classic red, gold and green tree, with an array of ribbons and unique ornaments, like a tree topper mask.

Her home was also decorated with life-size nutcrackers and oversized baubles.

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright also quickly put up their decorations as they showed off their very lavish Christmas lights and decorations at their £3.5million home in Essex on Sunday.

Former TOWIE star Mark took to the couple’s home Instagram account to give fans some insight as he got into the festive spirit.

The Georgian-style windows of their home were framed with Christmas lights, with leaves around the door and reindeer on either side.

The clips also showed extravagant indoor decorations, including hundreds of baubles on their spiral staircase.

Complementing the hallway decor was a huge Christmas tree with red and gold bows and stars on the side.

Mark captioned the update: ‘It’s that time of year again!! The best time of the year!! Just when you think @4.seasonevents can’t do it any better… Killed it.’

Last week, Mark gave fans a glimpse of the latest update on the renovation work on the luxury home he shares with his wife Michelle, including a very spicy feature.

The couple have completely renovated their Essex country home since purchasing it in October 2019 and have been keeping fans up to date with the incredible changes on their home Instagram account.

Mark offered a glimpse into the couple’s luxurious bathroom, which has been transformed with brand new tiles.

In a video from his home account @wrightyhome, Mark filmed the large space, with white marble tiles on the floors and walls.

While the former TOWIE star said he was ‘so happy’ with the latest update, he is no doubt also pleased with the very large shower with room for both him and Michelle.

The huge two-person shower room is next to the couple’s own steam room and sauna, with the happy couple, who married in 2015, likely making the most of their home spa on a regular basis.

Mark also took fans to another smaller bathroom in the huge house, which this time had gray marble tiles, as well as his and hers sinks and a luxurious freestanding bath.
