The media personality, who is now engaged to aviation boss Paul O’Brien, nearly burst into tears as she shared how she overcame heartbreak.
Lauren, 36, shared a powerful message on her KIIS 101.1 radio show last week, saying she never thought she’d be happily in love again after her divorce.
The presenter addressed her near-nervous breakdown and promised that anyone who is struggling will “come out on the other side.”
She said she had recently met her mother while on holiday in Barcelona and her mother said she hadn’t seen her this “happy” in a long time.

“When I heard my mom got so emotional and said she hadn’t seen me this happy in a long time… Even though this is such a happy time, it made me think about how hard it was to get here” , Lauren said boldly.
“A few years ago I wouldn’t have thought I’d be this happy. I have immense gratitude for the people who saw me at my worst and now at my best.’
“But I just want to say to the people who are fighting something right now, a breakup, difficulties at work or grieving and coping with loss. Just keep pushing,” she said.

“And when you find the people in your corner, hold on to them and believe in them and in yourself, because they believe in you to come out the other side and I promise you you can,” she said sweetly .
Under the snippet of the moment shared on the radio show’s Instagram page, one person commented, “Beautiful words Lauren. You deserve all the happiness in the world ❤️.’
Lauren previously revealed on her radio show that she nearly had a “nervous breakdown” following her split from ex-husband Lachlan Spark in 2018.
She said the relationship ended badly after she “sacrificed her own health” to make things work.

‘It didn’t end well. When you’re an adult, it’s not a hard exit; it was a very slow, slow decomposition process. We were together for seven years,” she said.
“We decided to buy a house, renovate a house, start a new business and get married at the same time, so there was a huge pressure bubble that we put ourselves in, and a myriad of other issues that came into play,” she added.
Lauren continued, “It broke me down really quickly, but I was determined to try everything I could and that meant ultimately sacrificing my own health, which is why I almost had a nervous breakdown.”
She went on to say she was “proud” of the way she had handled the breakup – in what may have been a subtle swipe at Lachlan for publicly criticizing her after their split.
The Weekend Today host was married to Lachlan, a TV producer who now runs his own creative agency, for just a year before calling it quits in December 2018.
The couple dated for six years before they tied the knot on the Mornington Peninsula in 2017.

‘Then we went to Mykonos and met all our friends and it turned out I was the only one who didn’t know about it. He asked in front of all our friends. I had no idea and the next moment he was on one knee.’
The brunette beauty said the public proposal was such a surreal experience that she thought Paul was teasing her at first.
“I guess I thought he was joking. It was an out of body experience. I don’t think I even looked at the ring. I just hugged him and cried and then we all stood up and celebrated.”
She couldn’t contain her joy as she discussed the ultra-romantic proposal.
Everyone was like, “you didn’t say yes,” and I’m like, “of course it’s a yes!” We then called my family who was home at the time. He asked my father. He’s a gentleman,’ she added.
