“Considering that after the death of the body the spirit perishes is like imagining that a bird in a cage will be destroyed if the cage is broken, although the bird has nothing to fear from the destruction of the cage,” the excerpt read.
‘Our body is like the cage, and the spirit is like the bird. We see that without the cage this bird flies in the world of dreams; therefore, if the cage is broken, the bird will continue and exist. Your feelings will be even more powerful, your perceptions greater, and your happiness increased. Truly, from hell he arrives at a paradise of delights because for grateful birds there is no paradise greater than freedom.’
Hussle, who was just 33 when he was shot to death in the street, was in the process of starting a foundation to improve his Los Angeles neighborhood.
He also contacted the Los Angeles Police Department to discuss ways to help prevent gang violence, just before his death.

The trial of the man accused of shooting Hussle and two other bystanders, Eric Holder Jr., was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but he was ultimately found guilty of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter in July. .
In late February, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge sentenced Holder Jr., an alleged Crips gang member, to at least 60 years in prison.
He received 25 years to life in prison for the murder of the Grammy-nominated artist and an additional 25 years to life in prison based on a sentence enhancement because he used a weapon.
Holder must serve an additional 10 years in prison on assault convictions for shooting two other men who were with Hussle on the day of the deadly incident, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Holder’s attorney, Aaron Jansen, told ABC News that he plans to appeal the verdict.
Jansen does not dispute the claims that his client pulled the trigger, but argued that Holder should instead have been charged with voluntary manslaughter because “this is a case about the heat of passion.”
He also maintains that his client should not have been charged with attempted murder because he did not intend to harm the two bystanders who were injured as a result of the shooting.
On the dreadful day, Holder, 33, had been out on a date with a woman, when she approached Hussle outside the Marathon store. The two had a brief conversation, and then Holder left, only to return minutes later with two handguns and opened fire in the parking lot, killing Hussle and wounding the two male bystanders.
