On Friday, Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham shared a photo on her Instagram – with her former co-star Kelly Bishop.

Kelly, 80, played Emily Gilmore, the matriarch of the Gilmore family, mother to Lauren’s Lorelai and grandmother to Alexis Bledel’s Rory on the beloved and long-running drama.

“Here’s to the ladies having lunch. #Kelly,” the 57-year-old Parenthood star captioned the post.

In the photo, Lauren – who recently reflected on her friendship with Matthew Perry – was dressed in a black and white striped T-shirt with a blue jacket over it, a blue bucket hat on her head and sunglasses on her face.

Gilmore Girls premiered on the WB in 2000, with the series finale in 2007 on The CW.

It lasted seven seasons and chronicled the lives of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, a mother and daughter with only a 17-year age difference, living in a storybook town in Connecticut called Stars Hollow.

Lorelai’s relationship with her wealthy parents, played by Bishop and the late, great Edward Hermann, is tense at best, but both parties do their best to get along.

The cast included Melissa McCarthy, Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Adam Brody, Scott Patterson and a host of other now very familiar names in one of their first roles.

A four-part Gilmore Girls special aired on Netflix in 2016, picking up nine years after the series ended.

That special also ended on a cliffhanger – with Rory revealing she was pregnant in the final seconds of the limited series.
