Lauren Goodger has revealed that she lost three stones in the wake of the tragic death of her newborn daughter.
Lorena, the 36-year-old daughter of the former TOWIE star, was born in July 2022 with her umbilical cord around her neck and lost her life.
The childbirth tragedy came after Lauren’s former partner, Jake McLean, died in a car accident in Turkey, then within weeks.

Lauren and her boyfriend Charles Drury, who had been dating since October 2020, have split following his arrest following an alleged assault at their Essex home on the night of their daughter’s funeral.
The heartbreaking pain Lauren experienced after Lorena’s death meant she was unable to eat, but she has turned to stone as her mental health has improved.
speaking to OKAY!, she said: ‘I lost almost three stones after losing Lorena due to stress. I didn’t eat. Now I’m eating again and I’ve got a stone again because I’m healthier.

“I stayed inside and didn’t come out, and now I feel like I’m in a better place mentally. This year it’s all about focusing on me and getting back on track.

The TV personality also said her 18-month-old daughter Larose, whom she has with Charles, has been a ‘rock’ to her and without her she would not have been able to survive Lorena’s death.
She said: ‘She’s the best. She makes me so proud every day. She is amazing. She is my rock.
“After everything I’ve been through, Larose is definitely my inspiration. She inspires me and has helped me through the most difficult moments. Without her, she would not survive.

It comes after Lauren talked about her. ‘hellish’ 2022 after the tragic loss of his little daughter Lorena and a bitter separation with his partner.
Speaking to MailOnline at The Inspiration Awards in London recently, Lauren reflected on the “massive trauma” she’s been through in the last 12 months.
She said: “I’ve been through massive trauma, I’m not going to sugarcoat it, but everyone knows it and I feel like one day I want to inspire other women.”

Lauren said she finds her strength in being a mother to her daughter Larose, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Charles.
Their relationship is understood to have ended acrimoniously last year, and at the funeral of their second daughter, Lorena, Lauren is alleged to have been attacked.
Charles, 25, was later arrested and released on bail following the incident.

She said: ‘Larose, my daughter, I think being a mother to the most incredible baby girl I’ve ever had in my life.
‘Like, she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I am a very strong person. I’ve been through a lot. And I feel like I want to be there…
I am strong, independent and I want to inspire girls and other mothers who are going through similar things. And you know, everything happens for a reason and I just don’t like it… life goes on.
In July, Lauren confirmed the tragic news of the death of her newborn baby Lorena in an Instagram post, explaining that she was born “without complications” before her death.
Just days before her daughter’s death, her ex-boyfriend Jake McClean was tragically killed in a car accident that has left his on-and-off partner Yazmin Oukhellou severely injured.
Jake, who was 33, was driving in Bodrum, Turkey, on Sunday when his car crashed into a hill before emergency services rushed to save him.
