Lauren Goodger left heartbroken as she reveals family and friends ‘vanished’ from her life following the tragic death of baby daughter Lorena: ‘I’ve never felt loneliness like this’
Lauren Goodger has revealed she feels abandoned by her family and friends after ‘everyone’ disappeared from her life following the tragic death of her daughter Lorena.
The 37-year-old TOWIE star gave birth to her second daughter in July 2022 and died minutes after birth with her umbilical cord around her neck.
She has since spoken openly about the heartbreaking loss, saying it was “the most traumatic experience of her life.”
Lauren, who is also mother to two-year-old Larose, says her support network dwindled as time went on and she has never felt more alone.
Narrate OK!: ‘As time goes on, after what I went through when I lost Lorena, people think, “Oh, it’s been two years, she’s OK.” But it’s actually worse because you get lonelier. I’ve never been so lonely in my life.’

Lauren says she has lost touch with close friends and explains that while her parents don’t see Larose as often as she would have liked, her older sister Nicola is the one who is always there to support her.
He told the publication: ‘Nobody is stepping down, people have been DMing me on Instagram saying, ‘The exact same thing happened to me, once I had this loss. [losing a baby] “Everyone’s gone.” I don’t know what it does to people, but they take a step back, they don’t take a step forward.
She also said she is getting help from her ex and father of both daughters, Charles Drury, 27, with whom she co-parents, but he lives a three-and-a-half hour drive from her home in Essex.
Say: ‘He is not available in case of emergency. I meet him twice a week [to pick Larose up and drop her off] halfway’.
Last month, Lauren criticized her “fake friends” for not reaching out to her on the second anniversary of Lorena’s tragic death.
Lauren took to Instagram on Monday to address those who hadn’t reached out to her on the anniversary of her daughter’s death, calling them a “disgrace.”
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, she wrote: ‘To everyone who didn’t message me today, don’t call me or even see us! You guys are a disgrace! No respect for Lorena, me or Larose at all!’.
‘Some of you are family and some of you are friends! But you are not really a family of friends…
Saying, ‘Nobody’s quitting, people have DM’d me on Instagram saying, ‘The exact same thing happened to me, as soon as I had this loss [losing a baby] Everyone is gone.’
She also shared how she gets help from her ex and father of both daughters, Charles Drury, 27, with whom she co-parents, but he lives three and a half hours away.

Lauren and her daughter Larose, two, marked the date by eating birthday cake and releasing a balloon into the air next to a plaque in Lorena’s honor. The words “always in our hearts” are etched on the plaque.
The area was decorated with a white rose, a burning pink candle, a birthday card addressed to Lorena and a photo frame.
Lauren shared a video of them spending their day, captioning it: ‘Happy 2nd birthday Lorena – every year I realise more and more how lucky I am to have your big sister Larose!’
“She is one in a million and I couldn’t have made it today without her. She is my rock! So so so proud of both of you girls love you both always mom.”
