Lauren Goodger devastated as ‘her friend moves in with ex Charles Drury’ months after his arrest

Lauren Goodger is reportedly devastated after one of her friends started dating her ex-boyfriend Charles Drury.

The former TOWIE star, 36, divorced the builder, 25, over the summer, with a source telling MailOnline that Lauren believed he had cheated on her.

The couple’s breakup followed the tragic loss of their daughter Lorena, where Lauren was allegedly assaulted on the day of her child’s funeral. Charles was later arrested and released on bail following the incident.

According to The sunLauren’s boyfriend Jacqueline Johnson took Charles in after he was released after his arrest and they’ve lived together ever since.

A source told MailOnline: “You can imagine this news was a devastating blow, but Lauren remains strong, her focus remains positive.

“Her 15-month-old daughter Larose is her driving force to keep going, supported by her family and closest friends.”

A friend told The Sun: “Lauren was stunned when Jacqueline Charlie first recorded, but now it all makes sense. She had her suspicions and has since been told that Charlie and Jacqueline are dating.”

Last month, Lauren enjoyed a romantic date with a wealthy mystery businessman, as revealed exclusively by MailOnline.

The source said the new suitor “gained her confidence” after her last relationship and she is now starting to “heal” from the past.

As she continues through her traumatic year, Lauren has put her £624,000 Essex home up for rent, just over a year after buying it with her now ex-boyfriend Charles.

The former TOWIE star is charging £2,300 a month for the four-bedroom plush pillow she moved into in August 2021.

Lauren and her daughter LaRose, 15 months, who she shares with Charles, have continued to live in the house since the couple’s split.

Lauren’s semi-detached house is rented unfurnished for the long term.
