Lauren Goodger is slammed by fans as she attempts to sell fur coat made from red foxes

Lauren Goodger sparked controversy this week when she tried to sell a coat made from red fox fur on Instagram.

The former TOWIE star, 36, was selling the garment on behalf of a friend, explaining that it was worth £4,000 and was selling for £1,000.

And in the comments section, many were unimpressed with the sale, with one reportedly commenting, “This needs to go in the trash.”

He shared an image of the long coat on Instagram as it hung against a white background.

And describing the item, Lauren wrote: “Vintage fur long brown/caramel red fox coat item is not mine…was gifted by a friend’s mother when she passed away for 4k worth of sale 1k.”

Even though it wasn’t the reality star’s coat, many fans took to the comments section to express their displeasure.

According to Sunone follower commented: ‘This needs to go in the trash.’

While another allegedly wrote: ‘This needs to be set on fire!!!’ and a third suggested: ‘How about you sell it and donate the money to animal rescue…everyone wins?’

Fur farming was banned in the UK in 2003, meaning royal coats are no longer sold new, but there are still numerous vintage fur coats for sale.

It comes after Lauren recently got fans excited as she teased her OnlyFans page with a New Years discount.

The TV personality has a profile on the X-rated site where she poses in sexy photos with almost nothing on.

She took to her Instagram stories to promote her exclusive subscription page by teasing fans with a snapshot of her bathroom.

Lauren wrote in the promo for her page, ‘Getting a Happy New Year discount,’ and covered her nude figure with a sticker that read ‘40%’ in glittery gold numerals.
