Lauren Goodger enjoyed a romantic day out with a wealthy mysterious businessman on Friday, MailOnline may exclusively reveal.

The former TOWIE star, 36, is moving on with her ex Charles Drury, 25, and a source says Lauren believes Charlie cheated on her.

The source said the new suitor is “giving her back confidence” after her last relationship and that she is now beginning to “heal” from the past.

It comes after Lauren tragically lost her newborn baby, Lorena, to complications during her birth earlier this year.

She was then reportedly assaulted on the day of her baby’s funeral. Her boyfriend Charles was later arrested and released on bail after the incident.

A source told MailOnline on the day of her date: ‘Lauren is healing and someone rich and sweet is making her feel confident again.

She’s enjoying dating again, but is still hurt by her past with Charles, who she thinks slept around when they were together.

She looked stunning for her day out showing off her curves in a stylish black combo while opting for typically glamorous makeup.

It comes after a rough patch for Lauren, who lost her daughter Lorena after giving birth to her, as well as the death of her ex-boyfriend Jake McLean — who lost his life when his car plunged 70 feet off a cliff in Turkey last month.

Lorena was born with two knots in her umbilical cord, tied around her neck, and despite ten doctors fighting to save her, she died shortly after she was born.

She shares Larose with ex-partner Charles, who is also Lorena’s father – with the on-off couple who broke up last November.

Last month, Lauren wrote a touching post about her grief, saying she plans to write a book about the tragedy someday to help others who may be going through the loss of a child.

“I want to thank you all for the support, I’m broken,” Lauren wrote on her Instagram stories at the time.

One day I will write my second book and tell my story to everyone I experienced when I was old. And hopefully it can be someone’s survival guide.’
