Lauren Boebert’s son Tyler made SEX TAPE with one of three accomplices who helped him break into cars and steal credit cards, bombshell affidavit reveals

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s eldest son Tyler allegedly made a sex tape with one of his teenage accomplices in a spree of car burglaries and property theft in Republican’s Colorado district.

Police zeroed in on 18-year-old Tyler after a teenager helped identify him in store security footage, according to an affidavit seen by DailyMail.com.

The teen then told police that Tyler and a female accomplice had made a sex tape and that Tyler had sent it to another person in their age group. Tyler has not been charged with any crimes in connection with the alleged sex tape.

Tyler is accused of breaking and entering and stealing from four vehicles, taking cash, gift cards, a Social Security card and credit cards, as well as driver’s licenses.

The teens allegedly used the money to buy gas and food at a McDonald’s and a Kum and Go in Rifle, although banks eventually began reducing the charges.

The lawmaker's son, 18, is facing nearly two dozen different charges in connection with a spate of car burglaries and property thefts in Republican's Colorado district.

They also apparently tried to order $717 worth of merchandise from Shein.com, $175 from Kum and Go and $10.95 from a Starbucks.

According to an arrest affidavit, Boebert was recognized on surveillance video at a gas station on Feb. 20 by a Rifle police officer investigating a series of car burglaries and thefts.

The video shows Boebert in a Shooters Bar and Grill hoodie — the restaurant previously owned by his mother — while three accomplices, all underage, allegedly use a stolen credit card to obtain food.

The other three – a 16-year-old man, a 16-year-old woman and a 17-year-old woman – were not identified because they are all minors, resulting in charges of corrupting minors.

Six victims are named in an incident summary, although their identities are also redacted, with the youngest being just three years old. The rest are between 18 and 32 years old.

Appearing virtually in a Garfield County court from jail on Wednesday, Tyler smiled and laughed as the hearing began, which Deputy District Attorney Tony Hershey said the congressman’s mother was listening in on.

Magistrate Jill McConaughy granted him a $1,250 personal recognizance bond.

Hershey called his “activity and behavior” concerning and noted that Boebert failed to appear in court in a traffic case last year.

Boebert’s next court date was set for April 11.

Local police cited the recent string of vehicle violations and property thefts in the city, and the Rifle Police Department posted on its Facebook page Tuesday evening that the investigation is ongoing.

Representative Boebert still represents Colorado’s Third Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, but announced earlier this year that she would move her campaign to the state’s Fourth District.

The lawmaker faced a tough rematch against Democrat Adam Frisch, but also said the move is intended to give her family a “fresh start” after a “pretty difficult year.”

The arrest Tuesday is not the first time the teenage Boebert – who shares a son with an ex-girlfriend – has encountered controversy.

In April last year, a friend claimed that a driving accident left Tyler with multiple concussions and a debilitating hand injury.

Rep. Boebert said in a statement to DailyMail.com that her son must face the consequences, but ultimately she loves and supports him.

“I love my son Tyler, who has faced some very difficult, public challenges for a young man and been the subject of attention he didn’t ask for,” she said.

She added that her son was “an adult and a father” and “needed to be held accountable” just like anyone else.

“It breaks my heart to see my child struggling, and in this situation, especially when he has been given multiple opportunities to get his life on track. I will never give up on him and I will continue to be there for him,” she added.
