Woods has had another successful year in sports broadcasting, be it the NFL, boxing or, most commonly, football, working with DAZN, ITV and TNT Sports.
The 36-year-old was also recognized for her role at ITV, where she covered the FIFA Men’s and Women’s World Cup finals as well as the FA Cup.
She beat colleagues such as Mark Pougatch, who is the face of ITV’s international men’s matches in both football and rugby, and Ed Chamberlain, the lead presenter of ITV’s racing coverage, with the award.
She thanked the ITV production team for winning the award and shared photos of the evening on her Instagram account.

Woods said: “If a presenter wants to win an award like this they need a safe and encouraging environment to thrive in and for me that has been ITV.
‘So I’d like to thank the amazing production team we have for making every day so much fun and putting their heart and soul into their work behind the scenes.
‘I am so grateful to be part of this family. This award means the world to me.”
ITV was also nominated for Sports Broadcaster of the Year and Sports Content of the Year for its coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with Seb Hutchinson nominated for Sports Commentator of the Year and Roy Keane Pundit of the Year, alongside NFL panellists Jason Bell and Osi Umenyiora
ITV shows Soccer Aid and Goodwood Revival were also nominated in the Sports Entertainment Program of the Year category.

The presenter took center stage in their Champions League shows, alongside Joe Cole and Glenn Hoddle.
She will cover Sheppey’s FA Cup first round tie against Walsall on ITV4 on Friday evening, before more Champions League action midweek.
Woods has worked with the likes of Eni Aluko, Karen Carney and Ian Wright during England’s World Cup tour of Australia and New Zealand when Sarina Wiegman’s side lost to Spain in the final.
