Laura Woods paid herself an eye-watering £400,000 dividend to celebrate her move to ITV and TNT Sports, figures reveal.

The presenter, who provided football and boxing coverage for a number of broadcasters, saw her earnings rise significantly after leaving talkSPORT.

Woods left her role as host of the channel’s breakfast show in June 2023 after three years and became TNT Sports’ lead Champions League anchor.

She is also the face of ITV’s England and FA Cup coverage and hosted several Euro 2024 matches over the summer, playing a key role on screens across the UK.

Paperwork from the company that handles her TV income has revealed that she has paid herself almost half a million pounds – the equivalent of £35,000 a month.

She is now engaged to former Love Island star Adam Collard and is expecting her first child

It is the first time Woods has paid himself a sum since founding the company in 2014, with the 37-year-old quickly climbing the broadcasting ladder.

Woods, who is engaged to former Love Island star Adam Collard, has also made a deposit worth £512,292, with accounts visible until the end of 2023.

Even after the payout, her company still has assets worth £635,247, including £460,501 in the bank.

She is said to have earned around £250,000 a year during her time at talkSPORT and is likely to have received a significant pay rise after signing for TNT Sports.

An Arsenal supporter, Woods started out as a runner for Sky Sports before becoming one of the broadcaster’s biggest household names.

Away from the cameras, Woods announced in July that she was pregnant with her first child, less than a year after her relationship with Collard, 28, went public.

Woods took to Instagram to share the news with her followers, posting a photo of her French bulldog and a sonogram alongside the caption, “Hey baby.”

Collard appeared on Love Island in 2018 and 2022 and also starred on Celebs Go Dating last year – but admitted he met Woods through Instagram.

The couple embarked on a luxury holiday to Mexico in March and went skiing in the French Alps with a group of friends in February.

Collard previously revealed that he planned to “marry and have children” with Woods, saying: “I’m protective, whether it’s Laura, or my family, my friends.

‘I want to get married. I also want to have children. I always thought: what kind of person will I be? How can I protect my children?

‘Obviously I’ve never had a child, but I don’t think I’m going to plaster it all over [social media]. I want them to get a fair fight and not be judged right away.

‘As long as those close to me know exactly who I am, it doesn’t matter to me. I think you have to take everything with a grain of salt.’

Collard got down on one knee to propose to Woods on a beach in St Ives in September and later said his partner was his ‘whole world’.
