The TV personality stepped down from presenting Love Island for her own ITV breakfast show, which she promised fans would definitely be “personality-led”.
“It’s going to be a mix of chat, a variety of artists and it’s one of those shows I like to watch on the weekends.” It might be a little more relaxed than a weekday show.
“We’ve got a mix of guys, I’m always pushing for a little bit of music on the show, so we’ve got that there as well. There will be some banter, there will be some issues that we will talk about.
While adding that she just wants to try new things and have fun without thinking too much about it.
She said: ‘We’ve had a lot of room to play with it, things can change over the weeks. Everyone was so nice working on it and open to new ideas and trying new things. I just want to have fun and not think about it too much.
“It’s TV to make you feel good, but also interviews and chats that help you identify and see people you’re emulating.”
Laura recently said that she is still impressed when she meets people she knows very well.
She said, “I’m constantly starstruck. I’m even impressed by people I know pretty well and you just try to pretend you’re not and calm down about it. It never goes away and you hope it never goes away.”

The TV presenter stepped down from the ITV2 dating show Love Island last year, a role she took on in 2020, following the death of Caroline Flack.
Laura admitted she found flying back and forth from the Mallorca villa “really difficult” and claimed she only planned to fill in for Caroline for one series, emotionally saying she hoped to make her late friend “proud” would make.
As well as Love Island, she fronted sister program Aftersun and received mixed reviews, with some viewers praising her treatment of sensitive subjects while others criticized her for ‘encouraging slut-shaming’ in a segment that drew 427 Ofcom complaints.
