Laura Henshaw's husband Dalton has revealed why he decided to take her surname after tying the knot in 2021.
During a Q&A on Instagram, a fan asked the Keep it Cleaner co-founder why her husband took her last name.
“Why did Dalton change his last name?”
She then shared a video of Dalton explaining that he had always been open to changing his name.
“The main reason for this is that for me it was always a conversation and always has been,” he said.

“Nothing was ever adopted when I was growing up, regardless of the fact that I grew up in what would be a traditional woman taking the man's last name, environment or family.”
He continued, “In this case it was always a conversation and that led to me taking Laura's name.”
Dalton confirmed that he had indeed taken his wife's last name after their 2021 wedding.
Dalton explained his decision to take Lauren's last name on Instagram at the time: “You can still call me Dalton, Dalt, Dolphin, whatever you want… I'm still the same me and always will be.

'I'm just going to close one chapter and start another with my beautiful, driven and inspiring wife by my side as Mr Henshaw.'
Although Dalton's decision to break with tradition appears to be his way of expressing love and respect for his wife, he also hinted that he didn't like his last name Graham.
“PS somewhat excited to break the chains of two first names #TheHenshaws,” he said.
