It comes after Laura was almost knocked over by a wave while presenting This Morning’s latest competition from Tenerife last month.
During the chaotic live segment, she strolled along the sand as she spoke to hosts Rochelle Humes and Craig Doyle back in the studio.
As she explained what was up for grabs, a wave came towards her and she struggled to keep her balance.
Laura, always professional, continued to talk to the camera, hoping that the awkward incident had been missed.
However, Craig joked: “We saw you get hit by a wave then, don’t try to play it cool.”
Laura replied, “It was close” before her microphone suddenly cut out and she continued chatting without anyone hearing what she had to say.
Back in London, Rochelle and Craig had to apologize for the awkward blunder before cutting the segment.
The day before, the show’s sound engineer was forced to rescue Laura when she was swept away by a river live on air.
Just before she showed off her film outfit when she went to work in Spain after donning a red and orange dress
The hilarious scenes saw her joining the show from a water park in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, where she discussed ITV’s latest competition.
After explaining what was up for grabs, Laura threw herself onto a rubber ring in the water and quickly got carried away.
Back in the studio, presenter Craig Doyle laughed: “The sound guy is just watching that very expensive microphone going down the river.”
Returning to Laura, she could be heard shouting, “I’m stuck,” as the soundman used the long microphone handle to fish her out of the water.
Rochelle Humes giggled: ‘OMG he’s really gone to save the mic, I knew it!’
“He’s using the long microphone wand to drag her back in,” Craig exclaimed.
